It’s hard to look into those wounded, gentle eyes and not want to help—trust us, we know! In this ever-busy day and age, people can’t always donate their time. With jobs, family, and the million other little things we have to do every day—time becomes a very limited commodity. But you can make a difference!

Nine times out of ten, every Great Pyrenees that comes in to our program needs medical attention. Sometimes it is just shots or spay/neuter, but sometimes the attention required and veterinary costs are astronomical. Every penny counts and any donation you can spare will make the difference in the life of a very deserving Pyr. We are an all-volunteer organization. 100% of all donations we receive go directly to the dogs we care for.

What Are Other Ways That You Can Contribute?

There are many ways that you can help rescue dogs find their forever homes. If donating funds or supplies is not an option for you, or you think you can do more, consider contributing in other ways.

Donate By Spreading Awareness

Consider donating by making purchases on our merch store! Not only do the funds go toward supplies and medical care, but you can help spread awareness about the Great Pyrenees Rescue Society and maybe even start a conversation with others when you go out and about in the world on your daily errands. While direct donation is helpful, so is spreading the word to others who may be inclined to help. You can also spread awareness by joining our Facebook and Instagram groups, share posts, and encourage others to donate online through social media. Maybe one of your friends might even be interested in adopting a beautiful Great Pyrenees rescue dog. If so, they will know where to go.

Donate Your Time and Service

Great Pyrenees Rescue Society is a nonprofit organization that relies 100% on volunteers. This means that all efforts rely on donated time and effort from people who are passionate about rescuing dogs. Check out our volunteer opportunities, or if you're really feeling heroic, consider dog fostering. Whatever the case is, your charity is highly appreciated.
