Meet Wynonna, the fluffiest bundle of adorable you’ll ever lay eyes on! This delightful Great Pyrenees puppy has the kind of soft, luxurious fur that just begs for snuggles. One look into her innocent eyes and you’ll be head over heels, ready to shower her with endless smooches. This little water-loving diva has a soft spot for pool time, where she can be found paddling around like she’s training for the doggie Olympics. When she’s not busy charming everyone with her sweet kisses and cuddles, you can find her playing with her beloved stuffed toys or gnawing on her favorite bones. Wynonna is crate trained and will happily snooze through the night in her cozy den. She’s got a lot of love to give and she isn’t shy about it—expect plenty of kisses and snuggles from this affectionate furball! Wynonna is also a social butterfly, getting along swimmingly with the dogs and cats in her foster home, making her the perfect addition to any pet-loving household. While she’s still mastering the art of house training, she’s making great progress and is eager to learn. With her happy-go-lucky personality and love for a good cuddle session, Wynonna is ready to make a splash in her forever home!

Wynonna will need obedience training as she gets older and mature. There is a lot for a puppy to learn and like all small puppies, she will need someone who can be home with her a lot and provide her with love, patience and boundaries to help her become a loyal companion. She loves the companionship of other animals and requires another dog in the home to act as her mentor as she continues to understand the rules of her new world.

ADOPT HERE: Complete an Adoption Application for your Pyr-fect new family companion at https://gprs.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=6206.

PUPPIES ARE ONLY PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL RESIDENT DOGS WHO ARE AT LEAST 50 POUNDS.

Our requirements for puppy adoptions are simple and necessary.

  1. Our puppies are not livestock guardians, they are family pets that live inside of the family home.
  2. Puppies must be placed in homes with a youthful, adult resident dog of similar size. This gives the puppy a mentor and a solid foundation for becoming part of the family.
  3. Puppies are only adopted to homes with someone at home at least part of the day. If no one is home for 6-8 hours at a time, please do not apply.
  4. Preference is always given to those with Great Pyrenees experience.
  5. Applicants must have secure, visible fencing and a socialization plan in place.
  6. The fastest way to be considered for a puppy is to fill out an application. Adoption is not first come, first served. GPRS and its fosters work diligently to find the right fit for each and every unique dog and puppy.
  7. Applicant’s personal pets must be current on vaccines & heartworm/flea prevention and be altered.

Adoption fee: $450 (Adoption fee includes spay or neuter, distemper/parvo vaccines, flea preventative, deworming, and health certificate for travel). Adopters pay the cost of transport services outside of Texas area. Transport costs depend on location and company used. Northeast transport fee is $200. The Northwest and Midwest transport fees range from $225-$350. The Southeast transport fees range from $250-$350.

ADOPTION, FOSTERING, AND DONATIONS are just some of the ways you can help a rescued dog. We have worked hard to cultivate a large network of volunteers to save this majestic breed. While monetary donations are always much appreciated, you can also help by donating your time as a GPRS foster or volunteer.
